Blast system Profi II Turbo is the standard ejector-type sandblasting apparatus. Apparatus of such type in contrast to pressure-type apparatus consume less amount of compressed air, more compact, have simple design, easy to maintain and adjust. Ejector sandblasting apparatus can operate from small compressors.
Blast system Profi II Turbo is the standard ejector-type sandblasting apparatus. Apparatus of such type in contrast to pressure-type apparatus consume less amount of compressed air, more compact, have simple design, easy to maintain and adjust. Ejector sandblasting apparatus can operate from small compressors with a capacity of 0.5-1.5 m3/min suffices them.
Ejector-type sandblasting apparatus are designed for:
· stripping of old paint-and-lacquer coating
· rust removing
· brushing (wood age-hardening)
· stonework
· glass matting
Benefits of such units include:
· low abrasive material consumption
· delicate surface impact
· relatively low air flow rate
· ease of adjustment and operating safety
Principle of ejector-type apparatus operation:
Abrasive material tank in the ejector-type sandblasting apparatus is not under pressure in contrast to pressure-type sandblasting apparatus. Air and abrasive material are supplied through the two separate hoses to blast nozzle. By means of pressurized air hose there is created air discharge in the nozzle chamber, as well as abrasive material inflow and entering into nozzle.
Usually, ejector apparatus capacity makes about 0.5-4 m2 depending on surface processed, type of abrasive material, air parameters, nozzle diameter, etc.
Generally, ejector apparatus capacity less than pressure-type apparatus, but due to lower price, low air consumption and less exacting attitude to compressor – ejector sandblasting apparatus are in demand in case of low scope of sandblasting works.
