Bayblend®

Bayblend® variants exhibit an excellent balance of properties, particularly high strength - even at low temperatures - as well as stiffness, dimensional stability, excellent creep resistance, low moisture absorption, heat resistance and high fire resistance. Our broad portfolio of Bayblend® offers you ideal properties for home appliances, automobiles and transportation, electrical engineering, consumer products, medicine, electronics, information technology and communications. Bayblend® options include general purpose grades as well as flame retardant, reinforced and unreinforced grades.

There are also special grades for specific applications such as electroplating and plating surface treatment. Flame Retardant grades offer superior flow properties suitable for thin walled applications that must meet stringent flammability and thermal requirements. In addition, Bayblend® flame retardant grades generally pass the IEC 60695-2 Glow Wire Test (some at 960ºC and 1.0mm) and meet UL 94 and also have the highest V-0 rating.
