In industrial production, a habitable shot blasting chamber is used to remove contaminants from the surface of welded metal structures. Processing is carried out manually by the operator using a directed jet of compressed air containing abrasive. As a result, the appearance of the welded products is significantly improved.
DESIGN OF CLEANING CHAMBER
The habitable shot blasting chamber is a special structure assembled from sheet metal and bent profile. When building walls, sandwich panels are often used.
To protect against the effects of adverse atmospheric factors, all structural elements are coated on the outside. The inner surface of the habitable chamber is covered with special abrasion-resistant rubber. This method of finishing makes it possible to significantly reduce the noise during shot blasting and reduce the wear of the shot.
Rubber lining during operation requires periodic replacement. This is easily achieved in places of wear by replacing individual sections.
Service doors located on the side wall allow for convenient operation and maintenance of the manned blast room. In addition, it has a rectangular window measuring 400x400 mm. It is closed with impact-resistant glass.
The floor of the chamber is made of metal gratings that provide automatic shot collection. The sectional floor design makes it possible to facilitate maintenance of the chamber.
For carrying out the process of high-quality cleaning of products, internal lighting is provided. It is carried out with the help of a certain number of ceiling lights, giving illumination in the working area up to 500 lux. On the plafonds covering them, multi-stage protection is provided:
armored glass;
protective film - from the possible impact of small particles and dust.
