OPTIFLUX 1050 represents cost-effective electromagnetic flowmeter (EMF) of lightweight flangeless design. Flowmeter is highly cost-effective solution for measurement of electrically conductive fluid flow rate (≥5 mS/cm) with low content of solid inclusions (up to 10%) in simple applications. It is particularly suited for use in water conditioning and wastewater treatment sector, in mobile installations, in agriculture and fire-prevention systems for which the highest measurement accuracy, extensive diagnosis or wide range of communication options are not priority. Supplementary insulation of electronic device and box makes this EMF ideal for application within humidity-rich zones.
OPTIFLUX 1050 is characterized by stiffened PFA lining and Hastelloy® electrodes, which ensure excellent chemical resistance and wide temperature range (up to 120°C/248°F). EMF has no internal movable parts, offers freedom of maintenance and is vibration-tolerant. It is delivered with current output (with superimposed HART®-protocol) or active pulse/frequency output and Modbus interface. Comprehensive on-site EMF calibration without shutdown of technological process can be performed by means of diagnostic device OPTICHECK.
